DAVE ANANTH - Chief Executive Officer, Legal Expertise and International Networks

With over 30 years of legal experience, Dave Ananth is a distinguished Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, with additional accreditation as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaysia. As a former Magistrate and Director of Ernst & Young, Malaysia, Dave boasts extensive networks throughout Asia and other overseas jurisdictions. Dave is also former Prosecutor with Inland Revenue based in Manukau, New Zealand.

Specializing in the highly complex field of taxation, Dave serves as the Special Counsel for Stace Hammond Lawyers and acts as an advisor to local companies wanting to expand their business in Asia and the Middle East.

Holding the position of President at the NZ Malaysia Business Association (NZMBA) based in Auckland, Dave oversees a spectrum of activities, including facilitating interaction and networking among Malaysians within the society and fostering connections with the wider business community in New Zealand.

 

His responsibilities also encompass promoting bilateral trade and networking initiatives between Malaysia, ASEAN, the Middle East, and New Zealand-based businesses, as well as strengthening government and ambassadorial relationships. Additionally, as an advocate for entrepreneurship, he assists NZMBA members in diverse business areas, offering guidance in start-ups, investments, legal matters, finance, immigration, and taxation.

ROSHIDAH MANGNALL – Chief Financial Officer and International Networks 

With 24 years of experience in running her own chartered accountancy firm, Roshidah also serves as the Honorary Treasurer for the NZMBA. Her extensive professional background includes working with numerous corporates and non-profit entities, particularly in the areas of Corporate Treasury and Money Markets. Holding a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration degree from Victoria University of Wellington, Roshidah is a full member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, holding a Certificate of Public Practice. Beyond her professional pursuits, Roshidah has devoted her expertise to various charitable entities in New Zealand through volunteering services.

PAM LOUIS - Director of Operations

Responsible for managing the operations at Trident Projects NZ Ltd, Pam Louis is also the Secretary of the NZMBA, contributing to the maintenance of government and ambassadorial liaisons. She also directs a design and project management company in Auckland and has been involved in the construction field in NZ for the past 24 years.

In addition to her extensive experience in the New Zealand construction sector, Pam brings a decade of involvement with international NGOs to the table. This background equips her with the ability to quickly identify needs, find networking solutions, launch and manage global operations.
